Fr. Ajit Kumar Xess, SJ, Provincial, Leaves for Pune

On August 21, 2026, Fr. Ajit Kumar Xess, SJ, Provincial of the Ranchi Jesuits and newly appointed President of South Asia (POSA), departed for Pune to participate in the Extended Consult of the Pune Jesuit Province. He joins the Consult as an Observer, in his capacity as POSA, during the discernment process as the Province prepares for the appointment of a new Provincial.

Fr. Provincial is expected to return to Ranchi by August 24, 2026.
