On August 19, 2026, the Ranchi Jesuits gratefully received a new ambulance donated by Prem Kumar Punit Kumar Premsons Foundation, Ranchi. The generous contribution reflects their commitment to serving society and supporting the mission of the Jesuits.

Mr. Punit Kumar, an alumnus of St. Xavier’s School, Doranda, holds a special affinity towards his alma mater and the Jesuit community. His gesture of solidarity will greatly enhance the Province’s ability to respond to medical needs and emergencies especially to our men in the infirmary at Manresa House, Ranchi.

The ambulance was formally received by Rev. Fr. Ajit Kumar Xess, SJ, Provincial, at Sadbhavna, in the presence of Fr. Sylverius Chermako, Fr. Alexius Toppo, Br. Telesphore Hora, and the Sadbhavna community.

This donation stands as a symbol of collaboration between alumni and the Jesuit mission, ensuring that the values of compassion and care continue to reach those in need.
